ABOUT
THE LEFTY CYCLES PROJECT
MISSION & HISTORY.
We are extremely passionate about our Mission because Recovery and Cycling has helped many individuals including our founder Dylan Howley on the road to recovery. Our mission is to perpetuate, manifest, deliver and apply Goodness to our Recovering community by delivering bicycles for transportation, exercise, hobby, or sport.
Dylan is the Founder of The Lefty Cycles Project, established in 2020; He is a one-armed athlete finishing his first Ironman 140.6 last year supported by his family due to the official race being canceled and again in 2022. As a positivity pusher, he encourages others to remember that there are 'No more bad days', only bad moments, by not letting bad moments ruin our whole day we will transform our thoughts and our lives for the better. Being a proud recovering alcoholic, Dylan has over 16 years without alcohol and relies on his recovering and cycling community for strength, support, and motivation. Motivated to share his passion of helping others, Dylan showcases that anything is possible through hard work and a positive mindset. A Connecticut native, he’s happiest when he’s with his family, enjoying the beauty of Mother Nature, and Perpetuating Pure Goodness.
