Follow Dylan on YouTube

Did you know that this past year Dylan was elected as the Vice President of Membership for the Toastmasters International chapter of Glastonbury?

Toastmasters International's mission is to empower individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders. They focus on the core values of Integrity, Respect, Service, and Excellence. Weekly meetings occur in which members practice a variety of public speaking exercises and give critical feedback to each other. Dylan joined last year and its no surprise that his story and charisma has led him to a leadership post within his chapter in such a short period of time.

Over the past 4 years, one of the main goals for Dylan as he discovered this drive for pushing the limits of physical and mental strength was to sharpen his public speaking skills. His story is not only captivating, its also intricate. It takes bravery and poise. Being able to engage a group with the power of words is no simple feat...now we can follow the founder of The Lefty Cycles Project, Inc. with weekly YouTube updates. The first video posted two weeks ago is a vivid description of the Ironman Lake Placid event that happened just one month ago. In the words of Dylan, "how did I fail and succeed at the same time?"

Another recent (and cool) example of Dyl's momentum forward as a public speaker is his involvement in podcasts. On the Lefty Cycles website, you can find links to two podcasts in which Dylan was interviewed by local organizations (https://www.theleftycyclesproject.org/news)

Last week, a new podcast was released by Primal Path. They're a CT based operation with the mission to bring fitness back to it's natural path (https://www.findyourprimalpath.com/)

The video of the interview is added to Dylan's YouTube channel and we also added it below. Its an amazing opportunity to hear a detailed recount of the major events over the course of Dylan's thirty-eight year journey. Through public speaking and engaging others, the idea to start an official nonprofit began last year. Thanks to networking and a dedicate work grind, the gears are moving for Lefty Cycles and Dylan continues to work through all roadblocks with a positive outlook. “No More Bad Days”.

Most recently, Dylan has completed four visits to Sound Community Services in New London. Each visit looks a little different but an important part of gaining trust over the past few months has been the power of story telling and relating to the audience. Subscribe and share his channel! More updates from The Lefty Cycles Project, Inc. and Dylan's personal journey to come! As always, thanks for following.
