3 cans of pure Goodness

The Lefty Cycles Project is thrilled to partner with Empowered Indoor Cycling & Strength Studio for this two part event: 3 Cans of Pure Goodness-- Food Drive & Spin-Stride-Strength Workout.

Empowered Studio is a staple within the Hartford County Community of CT and its focus on balancing health and wellness for all continuously inspires many, including our new organization, The Lefty Cycles Project (TLCP). TLCP is in the process of becoming a licensed Non-Profit Organization. We are a new organization dedicated to helping the Recovery Community by distributing bicycles to those in recovery and sharing stories of determination and adversity. We are proud to collaborate with Empowered along with additional local sponsors (listed below) to collect non-perishable goods, fundraise with fitness and contribute towards Hands on Hartford’s powerful mission.

As we approach the final stretch of 2020, the state of CT must further increase its efforts to feed residents, especially the most vulnerable to food insecurity during the pandemic. TLCP is proud to acknowledge the event support from Hands on Hartford (HOH), a social service nonprofit organization that supports Hartford’s most economically challenged residents in areas of food, housing and health. HOH will be receiving all the canned goods and proceeds from the workout fundraiser.

Empowered is an official Corporate Sponsor of The Lefty Cycles Project and is also hosting the “Strength Workout fundraiser” portion of the event on November 15th at their studio in Glastonbury. There are six spots left for anyone interested in a socially-distanced workout that directly benefits the efforts of Hands on Hartford. (Pre-register for the workout on 11/15 at empoweredstudio.com)
